FAQ for Grant Applicants
Applications must be received by midnight February 28, 2023. Who is eligible to apply for this grant subaward? Applicants must operate (or endeavor to operate) a dairy farm or dairy processing plant in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, and/or Washington and propose a project that meets at least one one of the nine goals.

Washington University is offering a variety of courses related to dairy processing and cheese making. 35th Advanced Cheese Making – March 7-9, 2023. Pasteurization Workshop – April 25-27, 2023.

Dairy Processing Operations Workshop – February 8-9, 2023
This workshop will focus on the fundamentals and building blocks of dairy processing. It will go over enzymatic processes, microbial fermentation, high-pressure processing, homogenization/pasteurization, sanitation and state of the art QA.
